Here at Go Indie Now it starts with one

Sept 1st, 2022  - Oh in just 3 days our 2022 Fall Season of Programming at Go Indie Now begins and I am super excited for what we have coming to you. We have a slue of new programs making their debut season runs, we have all the old favorites coming back, and a great mixture of live and recorded programs but all with the opportunity to interact with us during their premieres.

You might be wondering where the theme stems from for this season, "It Starts With One...". Well I am not somebody who looks back very often, I personally like going forward, but in one way I do always want to ground and humble myself with the simple mantra reminder that this all started with one, One Idea, One viewer, One artist willing to be interviewed, One Edit, One walk through Barnes & Noble filming on my one phone an intro to a show that would be the one to catapult us into more shows. It all happened because we got one share, one like, one comment, and one suggestion.

So I think as we start to do more new things it's always great to note that we do it for that one reason, person, moment, and we need to appreciate as those ones add up how each and every of them means.

Which I do.

While I will be talking programming in a moment, none of it would be possible to bring to you without the help I get behind the scenes. Of course that's all of you sharing and spreading the word about us. Which you have all been amazing, but I would be remised if I didn't talk about one of the ways we aim to be as high on the production value scale as humanly possible. That's through our presentations. That's why in the summertime I was blown away by the incredible dedication of Karina Kantas. Karina joined the family as our graphic designer midway through the summer and I real excited to show off all the hard work she has put in for this fall season to create logos, promos, graphics for us. She is an incredibly valuable asset, that we are lucky to have on board. So any logo, graphic, or promo you might see here, if you love it please let Karina know.

Okay...

So let's talk about what we are bringing you this fall. It's a jam packed line up that will begin Sunday, September 4th with our staple THIS WEEK IN INDIES and will run a different show nearly everyday until Sunday, December 18th where we culminate with THIS YEAR IN INDIES 2022 live broadcast.

We also will most likely do another LIVE BROADCAST for NEW YEAR'S EVE but all programming besides that will be wrapping for the holidays that week of the 11th-18th.

So what are these awesome programs? I'm so glad you asked...

SUNDAYS
It starts every Sunday at NOON ET/4P GMT/11A CT/10A MT/9A PT with our show THIS WEEK IN INDIES. Where in we cover all the breaking news and headlines from the world of Indie Artistry and Publishing. Each show will feature 5 Indie Artists and 1 Host to have a roundtable panel discussion about the relevant news stories and the business and demands of being an artist. During the show we are also proud to be the exclusive home of the premieres of each and every week of The Indie Connection, brought to you by C. L. Cannon. Then we finish every show giving one of the panelists the last 5 minutes to read, present and talk about their latest release or special project or service they are doing.

I am super pleased to announce that Madilynn Dale will be doing quite a few hosting stints of the show this fall season. Madilynn got a couple opportunities to do some hosting in the spring and we are very lucky to have someone as incredibly passionate and talented to run these conversations.

We also will be special episodes from time to time on This Week In Indies, like on Sunday October 16th where a few familiar faces will join Joe live from the event. We also will be doing a fancy dress up show during the season as well (date to be determined).

MONDAYS
Then we go live every Monday Night at 9P ET/1A GMT/8P CT/7P MT/6P PT with several different shows.

I am super excited to have back on the 1st Monday of the month Julia Allen. As she continues Season 3 of IN PROGRESS. The awesome hour long, 1-on-1 chat show in where Julia welcomes a guest to discuss the process of creating and the various challenges, disciplines, and the many, many different ways to do it. The 1st show will air live on Sept 5th.

Then on every 2nd Monday we have a brand new show I am super elated to bring to our network. It's called A CONVERSATION & A COCKTAIL and it will be hosted by the awesome Venessa Giunta. It's another 1-on-1 talk show that centers around the kind of professional conversations (shop talk) you would have with someone in an artist industry at a bar. Sometimes they are casual, sometimes very down to business, and Venessa being one of the best conversationalists I have ever met, this something she does nearly weekly anyway, and there is no telling where it goes and what you might learn. So let's broadcast live for everyone, why not? So we will get in the fall 4 incredible conversations and finish the 1st season in the Winter/Spring program. The 1st show will air live on Sept 12th.

Then I will be hosting the 3rd season of 21 GRAMS (this show will also run on any open Friday Night as well). This show for those who haven't seen it is an interview show where we deep dive into the psychological/metaphysical/philosophical aspects of the creative process. This season my questions are going to go directly into the Cerebral, Emotional, and Practical aspects of creating.  The 1st show will air live on Sept 19th.

TUESDAYS

Then we bring you some great prime time programming, some of it recorded and edited, and the other of it will be live. It will all start at 8P ET/MIDNIGHT GMT/7P CT/6P MT/ 5P PT regardless if that's live or pre-recorded, the chat will be open either way.

It will begin with 3 of the last 5 episodes of 3 ACT STRUCTURE Season 2, we got the CONFIDANT, BASED ON REAL LIFE CHARACERS, and TERITIARY episodes lined up to premiere each of the first 3 Tuesdays in September.

Then on the 4th Tuesday in September we turn the 8p ET hour over to Ron L Lahr, who will take over that timeslot for the remainder of the season and give us 12 episodes of his newest show, MEAN REVIEWS: NO STARS GIVEN where in each week Ron and a special guest host will review 2 Indie books (and maybe movies too) they have absorbed and then get lost in splendor that art provides or maybe more aptly just get lost? One thing I know is Ron's brand of self deprecating humor will win a lot of folks over. This is not going to be the Comedy Central Roast where in mean prevails, think of it more as if the guys from Spinal Tap learned how to read and just discovered this thing called books and movies. The 1st show will air live on Sept 27th.

On that same night on Tuesday right after Mean Reviews at 9P ET/1A GMT/8P CT/7P MT/6P PT Madilynn Dale will be bringing you her brand show CHARACTER DRIVEN in which she interviews an artist about their specific characters they have created. This is a 30 minute recorded and edited show that will be 12 episodes and include an accompanied reading from each artist that Madilynn interviews over on our YouTube Shorts section. The 1st show will air live on Sept 27th.

THURSDAYS

Thursdays are the day we bring familiar recorded shows with new episodes. It's our grab bag night so to speak. On one Thursday you might be getting a 30 minute SPOTLIGHT IV interview as we work into Series IV. You know the IV chapter of nearly every franchise has a little bit of the familiar formula that has worked and yet usually involves some sort of statement or overcoming of the odds, so the spotlights we turn on the Indie Artists and their art are going to bring honor to that IV franchise tradition, all while honoring you its audience with what you know this show to be .

Another Thursday in the month will bring you 4 ORIGIN episodes, 2 of which I have held onto way, way too long that I think you all will love. One is with a child actor turned director turned away from the business only to be called back to bring more into the world in Dick Rude. One is with a familiar name and face, and a certain dirty thought charm that can only be the absolute awesome Rebekah Jonesy. This Origins episode will surprise you all and give you great insight into one of my favorite human beings I have ever met. Then I got 2 more, 1 in which I have filmed already and 1 that I am hopeful to film at Multiverse. The first (the one filmed) is with a filmmaker/author/actor in the outstanding Marc L. Abbott.  The other is with our favorite Doctor by day, author in the night and weekends, the one and only Darin Kennedy.  I love this series but these 4 powerhouse interviews, I am telling you are can't miss.

Then if those 2 shows aren't enough to give you on a Thursday how about 2 we put out the last 2 episodes of 5 remaining in Season 2 of 3 Act Structure where we talked about Magical Beasts and Paranormal Creatures.

BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE TO GIVE YOU ON THURSDAYS.....

We still have 4 GENRES Episodes from Season 2 to air. We got Gothic Horror and Dark Fantasy already to put out there. So I am going to add 2 bonus episodes to film and put out there on a random Thursday, one will be Flash Fiction, the other will be determined.

FRIDAYS

As much as I am excited to bring you familiar fun fare on Thursdays, I am equally as excited to bring you the more educational aspect of what we do at Go Indie Now programming on Fridays. We will stay LIVE on this night.

Each month at the beginning of the month we plan on doing a LATE NIGHT NEWS broadcast at 10P ET/2A GMT/9P CT/8P MT/7P PT, as I will be joined at the news desk for the fall by Venessa Giunta. We will be bringing all the relevant news stories you may or may not have heard about that effects the Indie Artist community. Even if you have heard about the stories we might have, we are going a little deeper to bring you as much as we can on them. Along with the news we have C. L. Cannon once again doing her Monthly Marketing Tip. We have our 1st broadcast scheduled for Sept 9th (which I know is not the first Friday but after that they will be).

Then we follow on the 3rd Friday of every month with a TOWN HALL discussion panel. Various Go Indie Now hosts will welcome 3 or 4 experts in a subject matter relating to Indie Artists or something that will help Indie Artists and take your questions for them and gleam a bit of insight from the guest speakers on the subject matter. Our 1st Town Hall will be hosted by Madilynn Dale about writing realistic love scenes and romances in your stories on Sept 16th at 8p ET.

In between and around the other Fridays will be 21 GRAMS Season 3 continuing its 15 episode fall run.

SATURDAYS

Then I can think of no better way then to finish out the week drawing a little blood and conjuring a bit of darkness as A. F. Stewart brings us Season 2 of WORDS THAT KILL. That will start on Oct 1st and run every Saturday thereafter with 12 brand new Episodes.

It's going to be epic.

As will the final 2 Broadcast events will be for us in 2022. We will have Shane Wilson, JD Estrada, and Madilynn Dale (and perhaps more) join me in picking their 5 favorites in Indie Movies, Music, Comics, and Books (maybe we will do more on the show too) for our now annual tradition of THIS YEAR IN INDIES.

Then we bring in the New Year and kick out the old year as we hang out and countdown the East, Central, Mountain, and Pacific to Midnight and 2023 with our also now annual tradition of NYE'S GOES INDIES. We will have some special tricks up our sleeves for this event.

So I hope you are as excited as I am for what's to come in the next 4 months. It's going to be epic and exciting because while it starts with one this fall....

It's Always Time to Go Indie Now.
